Our Plantable Memorial Bookmarks combine these personal touches with handmade seed paper, creating a keepsake that can later be planted and grown into flowers or herbs. They offer a gentle way to share memories at a funeral, memorial service or celebration of life.
A keepsake to treasure, a tribute to grow
Each bookmark is handmade from recycled paper embedded with seeds. It can be kept between the pages of a favourite book for as long as its recipient wishes, or planted as a living tribute.
There is no need to choose straight away. Some people may find comfort in keeping the bookmark, while others may welcome the opportunity to nurture something growing in their loved one’s honour.
For family and friends, the flowers or herbs can become a small, everyday reminder of someone special.
Making it personal
The front of each bookmark can be personalised with a cherished photograph, a name and dates, a meaningful message or a favourite quote.
Our design includes four editable areas, with flexibility to adjust, rearrange or leave out details. Whether you prefer a simple tribute or a design that brings together a photograph and special words, we’ll help create a layout that feels right.

Choosing flowers or herbs
Our memorial bookmarks are available with three seed options: Australian native Swan River Daisy, a Garden Flower Mix of cottage-style blooms, or a Herb Mix containing thyme and oregano.
You might choose flowers to reflect a loved one’s enjoyment of the garden, or herbs in memory of time spent cooking and sharing meals together. The choice can be another small way to make the tribute personal.
Simple planting instructions are printed on the back of each bookmark, ready for recipients when they choose to plant it.

An artwork proof is emailed within 24 hours so you can review the design before printing. Orders usually dispatch the day after artwork approval.
