As a father of 3 boys, and loving son I was looking at what get my 80 year Dad for Father's Day. He loves a hand written Father's Day card that he can keep on the mantle piece for a couple of weeks, and when Mum has had enough of it and wants to put up Christmas cards he can plant the card to grow his favourite herbs (Oregano & Thyme).
